We hope your questions are answered here, but if you don't find what you need please contact us.

Do I need a referral?

We'd like you to have one but it's not essential. We prefer a team approach that incorporates your other health professionals which may include your GP, specialist and other allied health practitioners. By having a referral, we can work better with your other providers.

Please note that if you want to claim a Medicare rebate for our services, you'll need a Chronic Disease Management plan, organised through your GP. You don't need a referral to claim a rebate with your private health insurance provider. Find out about available rebates.

Are there any upfront costs?

No. Payment is on a session-by-session basis and due at the end of each session.

How much does a session cost?

Here is a list of our fees and services.

Are Medicare or private health insurance rebates available?

Yes, because our staff are university-trained allied health professionals there are both. Find out about the rebates available.

Do you deal with WorkCover and insurance claims?

Yes, our team are qualified and experienced WorkCover, Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA), and Transport Accident Commission (TAC; in Victoria) providers. We can liaise with these organisations to help cover some of the costs associated with your treatment, and develop a 'return to work' plan for you if appropriate.

What is your success rate?

Most of our clients make significant steps in managing their health better to improve their quality of life, and some recover to pre-illness levels. From clinical surveys of our clients, we know that graded exercise therapy delivered by an exercise physiologist improves our clients' quality of life and is an effective treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome, orthostatic intolerance and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome.

While we can't help every individual we guarantee that you will not feel worse from our rehabilitation programs. If you have any particular concerns, please contact us and one of our practitioners will be happy to speak with you. You might also like to read about the experiences of some of our clients.

I can't get to your clinic. Are there other options?

Yes. We treat people all over Australia as well as overseas via Skype, and can link in with health professionals closer to you if needed. Whether you are too far away or too unwell to travel to our Blackburn clinic, we have an option to suit you. Please contact us if you would like to know more.

Am I too sick to start?

We treat a wide range of people, from those who are housebound to those who can manage some work but not much more. We tailor our programs to meet your needs. However, if you would like to talk to one of our practitioners about your particular situation, please contact us.

Can I talk to someone?

Of course! Our friendly and knowledgeable team are available by phone 9:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Outside of those times you can leave a voice message or email us.
